![]() I've found the best way to do this is to start by moving through the Overgrowth Ranch expansion picking up the carrots and pogofruit there, then making my way along the beach (with the Tabby Gordo on the left), then do some simple mountaineering to jump over the Slime Key door without activating it (onto the bridges that cross the valley full of feral Rock Slimes) before working your way back to the main hub where you normally take the tunnel that leads to the Indigo Quarry. Run around the Dry Reef finding (at least) 30 fruits, 20 other food and whatever you need to complete the range exchange. ![]() On day 1 it should be Thora and she should only be asking for things you can find in the Dry Reefĭrop the first end of three of your teleporters just in front of the Range Exchange Go to the Range Exchange and see what is posted up there. This should mean you only need one attempt at Rush Mode and can focus on being chilled out in Adventure if that floats your boat.ĭay 1 is the only day you need to actually rush around: Any shortfall can be made up by the multiplier from other plorts. So the idea is that you'll get nearly to your 75,000 target from gold Gordos, and have a separate stream of income from ranching worth 75,000 as well so that if something falls apart on your run (like if you miss a Range Exchange or get Tarr in your ranch) you have another totally unconnected source of funds. This guide aggressively factory farms the three most valuable slimes and depending on how well you get your ranch operating it is perfectly reasonable to expect 50,000 or so of sales (which is multiplied by your plort bonus to maybe 100,000 total - well above the 75,000 you strictly need) This guide is going to get the bonus for 14/17 types of plort, which will be worth ~20,000 from the plorts alone and a whopping ~60,000 multipler boost to your Gold Gordo project.Īs something to do to fill the time between feeding Gordos and finding plorts, we might ranch some slimes. This means that - roughly speaking - each plort you deposit in the market below that 25 cap is worth an additional ~150 plorts on top of its regular market price. You get approximately a 5-8% bonus for each complete set of 25 plorts deposited in the plort market. ![]() Popping these Gordos is the highest priority of the run! Gold plorts sell for 300 each, so 30 x 300 x 8 = 72,000 so you should in principle be able to get the achievement from the Gold Gordos alone (although a couple of them are awkwardly located so getting 30 plorts consistently is hard - hence we do other things to maximise our score). This guide pops eight of them, and I've found on average I get about 30 gold plorts from the resulting chaos. There are 11 wild giant Gold Gordos, each of which contain a large number of gold slimes. There are three sources of income that we care about in Rush Mode: I think Rush Mode offers more replayability than the main campaign, but I know some people disagree and just want to do one run of Rush Mode for the achievements - this guide is for them. You have three days to make as much money as possible, and there are some rule changes to make this more rapid-fire than the main game. Rush Mode is the 'time attack' mode of Slime Rancher. This walkthrough is designed to maximise your chances of getting 75,000 points (not NewBucks) and hence the achievement, although when I ran it through last night I realised it was a little bit overkill and I ended up with about 250,000 points at the end, so it may be a reasonable starting point for people looking to maximise their score too. There seem to be quite a lot of requests for a walkthrough for the Rush Mode achievements, but nobody has put together a step-by-step guide.
